Dennis The Plumber

MJ and I have good luck with plumbers. Dennis Messer, a sub of Living Art Austin is rapidly winning our hearts. The Wolfe Den is not an easy plumbing job. In this slideshow, Dennis is proudly showing us several features of these fantastic bathrooms. Like the dual shower heads, the ability to shower all over the place including the outdoor enclosed terrace, the hidden traps (you don’t see any!) the hidden drain. A great job by Dennis and a sweetest soul to boot. We just found out today that he injured his thumb on a job. He’s ok, but gave us a start. Get well soon Dennis! We really love and appreciate you!

Mas Lobo!

It’s really starting to show more like a finished house, I can’t wait to seriously photograph it!

MJ took these teasers of the Wolfe Den on W Live Oak today:

(oh, I have to remember to tell El Lobo! about Magic Erasers, in case he doesn’t know about them… those walls and doors and panels have to stay white. The magic erasers are a magic trick for white walls and doors, I swear by these things, the contractors swear by them too, will save you a lot of re-painting.)

Larkey Addition/Remodel

Went by the larkey job today, it was deserted because of the rain. With almost all the sliding doors in, you can really start telling what the space is going to feel like. My favorite has to be the new master bedroom, with the views to the courtyard and the clerestory window streching beyond where the glass will stop all the way down to the carport! Your eye just travels forever on that left side, and below that… all that storage!!!

I really also saw the jog around the tree, today, with the flashing being in and all, it’s a skinny carport but a very considerate one:-)
